HANDS’on

The aim of this project is the development of a technology that supports the assessment of the executive upper limb function and the clinical decision process.
This project consists on the development of a kinematic biofeedback system. This system is a digital platform and a set of kinematic sensors. The digital platform provides a real-time avatar of movement errors that a chronic patient after a stroke is carrying out while training the daily living activities (e.g, drink a glass of water with the affected arm). The digital information provided by the biofeedback system allows the user to immediately correct the wrong component of the movement and thus become more effective and independent in their daily living activities
