Help2Care Project was distinguished on the Compete 2020 Newsletter
The project Help2Care was distinguished on the issue n.º 162 of Compete 2020 Newsletter (July).This is a joint project between IPLeiria (ciTechCare) – (promoting entity), the Polytechnic Institute of Santarém, the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco and the Leiria Hospital Center. ciTechCare was present at the Science Meeting 2018
Science 2018 is another edition of the annual meeting of Portuguese researchers. It aims to promote the broad debate of the main themes and challenges of the scientific agenda beyond the universe of research.The conference took place on July 2nd at Centro de Congressos de Lisboa.The Science Meeting 2018 was attended by Maria dos Anjos Dixe. ciTechCare received the visit of Nicholas R. Hardiker (External Advisory Board)
On May 12 2018, ciTechCare received the visit of Professor Nicholas R. Hardiker from University of Salford, Manchester, UK. He presented Digital eHealth Programmes on 4th IPLeiria International Health Congress. The 4th edition of the IPLeiria International Health Congress took place on May 11th & 12th, 2018, at the School of Health Sciences of Leiria, Polytechnic of Leiria (Leiria) and was subordinated to the “Global health trends“. The visit of Prof. Hardiker was an excellent opportunity to promote scientific cooperation in the area of health sciences between ciTechCare and an international partner and to know ciTechCare.
4th International Health Congress
The 4th International Health Congress took place on 11th and 12th May 2018 at the School of Health Sciences of the Polytechnic of Leiria, Portugal. It was organized by the Center for Innovative Care and Health Technology (ciTechCare). This year around 350 professionals, students and researchers from health-related fields participated in a congress that contributed significantly to the discussion on current and emerging topics related to the main theme: “Global Health Trends”. ciTechCare members attended the I International Congress of Food and Nutrition
“Nutrition in the society of information” was the theme of the 2018 edition of Congress of Food and Nutrition (XVII) organized by the Portuguese Association of Nutrition, which was also the I International Congress of Food and Nutrition. This scientific event aiming to promote equal access to science for health care professionals, particularly nutritionists, took place on May 10th and 11th at Lisbon Congress Center. Dietetic and Nutrition students and professors (from the School Of Health Sciences, Polytechnic of Leiria) attended with a poster presentation. ciTechCare members attended the X Congreso Hispano Luso de Estudiantes de Enfermería
The congress took place from April 26 to 27, 2018 and joined together students and nurses from Portugal and Spain, under the theme of Nursing without limits. X Congreso Hispano Luso de Estudiantes de Enfermería is a join venture event aiming to maintain intercultural contact of students, professionals and professors of Nursing of Portugal and Spain; facilitate students participation in workshops to completing their training; present research projects carried out by nursing students, professionals and nursing professors.
