CV Synopsis 

 Ricardo Pocinho completed the Law Degree in 2003 by the International University of Figueira da Foz. He has two PhD: one in Processes of Formation and Virtual Spaces in 2009/12/03 by the University of Salamanca (Institute of Educational Sciences, Spain) and a PhD in Psychogerontology in 2014 by University of Valencia.  

He is an Invited Adjunct Professor at Polytechnic Institute of Leiria: High School of Education and Social Sciences. He is also a Judge at the Judicial Court of Coimbra District a Researcher at Lusófona University of Humanities and Technologies Center for Interdisciplinary Studies in Education and Development and a Researcher at University of Valencia, Spain. Since November 23, 2017, he is the President of ANGES - National Association of Social Gerontology. He published 37 articles in specialized magazines. It has 29 book chapters and 24 books. Organized 42 events. Participated in 66 events. He is supervising a post-doctoral research and innovation work plan: Aging in place - Serious Games in the prevention of institutionalization of elderly in risk at home since February 2021 and have already supervised 4 doctoral thesis, co-supervised 4 master's dissertations and supervised 1 work for completion of the undergraduate / bachelor’s degree course. Received 5 prizes and honors. Participates and have participated as an Investigator in 2 projects. Works in the area of Social Sciences with an emphasis on Psychology, Gerontology, Social Sciences, Educational Sciences, Law, Economics and Management, Business Organization and Management.
