CV Synopsis

Andreia Alexandra da Costa Azevedo Ribeiro da Rocha Antunes Graduated in Medicine (1994) at Nova Medical School. She is Specialist in Gynaecology and Obstetrics by Coimbra University Hospital since 2004 and Graduated Assistant by the College of Ob/Gyn (2015). She strongly advocates minimal invasive procedures and “one stop” diagnostic and treatment philosophy. She is also very interested in global wellbeing and positive self-image of her patients. During the last 15 years she has improved her knowledge with several postgraduate courses and master degrees that have progressively broaden her interest from Gynecology to Aesthetic and Regenerative Medicine, highly appreciated by her patients. She believes in the importance of applying knowledge to social benefit, and hence is now involved in a PhD research project that joins a local industry (DRT enterprise), University of Minho and the FCT R&D Unit – ciTechCare- Center for Innovative Care and Health Technology, with the collaboration of Hospital da Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Leiria.
