On the 29th of march, Maria Guarino renewed her mandate as director of the Center for Innovative Care and Health Technology of the Polytechnic of Leiria, for the three-year period 2023-2026.

The votes of the integrated PhD members showed solid results concerning the figure chosen to be the main coordinator of the ciTechCare, by an absolute majority with 23 votes in favor and one blank vote.

Since 2019, when the ciTechCare was created, Maria Guarino, professor and senior researcher in the field of Physiology, Nutrition and Metabolism, lead this research unit that aims to develop and create healthcare solutions, according to the community necessities and the vision of ciTechCare partners that work together to a health scientific culture.
