Cátia Pontes, principal researcher at Veggies 4 MyHeart projet, received the best oral communication prize, at the 2nd Pediatrics Congress of Hospital da Luz Lisboa, that happened on march 2-3.

According to her presentation “Parents’ perception about the nutritional status of preschool children – Veggies 4 MyHeart project”, around 15% of the questioned parents admit that their children have a healthy weight, however, the BMI (body mass index) assessment reveals their children are actually at the pre-obesity or obesity category.
