CV Synopsis

Susana Sobral Mendonça is a full-time Adjunct Professor at the School of Health Sciences of the University of Leiria and Oeste. Susana holds a PhD in Nursing from the University of Lisbon; she is a Nurse Specialist in Medical-Surgical Nursing and holds the Specialist Title as a Professor in the Area of Nursing. Susana has a Master of Science in Education and a Master in Nursing in the Medical-Surgical Speciality. She has technical-scientific knowledge and clinical skills in assisting critically ill, semi-critical, and burn patients in emergency, burn unit, and operating room settings. She has conducted research and scientific work on developing skills in nursing practice, clinical supervision, standards of Good Practice in health, and Clinical Reasoning.
