ALL ABOARD
Access family caregiving needs as a bridge for palliative care-in-place
The ALL ABOARD’s purpose is to boost the ‘PC-in-place’ imperative helping caregivers in their daily care preparedness for end-of-life care and reducing adverse effects for family caregivers (FCs). Furthermore, by determining the unmet needs of FCs of palliative patients, the project will also contribute towards improving the QoL and well-being of the care receivers. As FCs are addressed, it is expected to improve their health and competence to care, minimizing the consumption of hospital health resources, while attending to patients’ preferences. Existing knowledge on meaningful FCs engagement will be aligned, and sustainably implemented through the involvement of relevant stakeholders.
