Anxiety during pandemic and its relationship with sleep and physical activity

The article authored by Roberta Frontini and Raul Antunes (researchers at ciTechCare) entitled ‘The Relationship Between Anxiety Levels, Sleep, and Physical Activity During COVID-19 Lockdown: An Exploratory Study’ was recently published in the journal Frontiers in Psychology.This work was carried out at the Polytechnic of Leiria and aimed to characterize the levels of state-anxiety and trait-anxiety, examining variations related to gender, sleep and physical activity during the first weeks of confinement; and explore the possible relationship between trait-anxiety and state-anxiety and the possible moderating role of gender.
