Carla Damásio, researcher at ciTechCare, participated in the II International Interdisciplinary Congress on Social Representations and Quality of Life of the São Francisco Valley (II CIRSQVASF) and the I International Virtual Olympiad of Clinical Cases in Health Care (I OLYMHEALTHCARE), as a member of Scientific Committee, Organizing Committee and Olymhealthcare, as well as the moderator of an oral presentation session and speaker at Session 6: Challenges in the Quality of Life of the Elderly with Oncological Disease and Family.

 

These events, held virtually, aimed to be a space for the construction of knowledge based on research carried out in research centers of excellence in the field of Health, Quality of Life and Social Representations, with the aim of contributing, at different levels, for an effective social, political and educational transformation, in order to ensure dignity as a basic element of the quality of life of citizens in these times of the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

I OLYMHEALTHCARE is part of the II CIRSQVASF programme and aims to encourage the practice of clinical intervention through Problem-Based Learning (PBL) involving a tournament between teams, as an educational strategy that allows the demonstration and exercise of learned skills.
