ciTechCare became part of the Map of National Technological Infrastructures of the Agência Nacional de Inovação (ANI) from 2020. The results of this mapping show that Portugal presents a more diversified and complex set of technological infrastructures, with a broader scope in terms of skills for innovation.
The current study also characterizes the reality of technological infrastructures in territorial terms, based on NUTS II, allowing a greater knowledge of the reality of each of the regions in terms of training for R&D and innovation activities.
The update of this survey took place within the scope of Order No. 946/2020 of January 23, which determines the creation and composition of the Working Group for the Training of Technological Infrastructures, and it aims to update the survey of Technological Infrastructures carried out 2016.
