In order to promote the scientific and professional growth of ciTechCare research team, three new collaborating members will join as scientific mentors. They are qualified to provide support in areas that complement and strengthen Health Sciences research, such as industrial property, health economics, competitive funding, scientific career development, entrepreneurship, and knowledge transfer.

We would like to thank researchers Ana Sargento, PhD in Economics, lecturer and former coordinator of the Center for Applied Research in Management and Economics (CARME); Ana Sargento, PhD in Biology, former coordinator of several R&D units at FCT and member of the Executive Board and Advisory Council of Campus do Mar; and Vítor Ferreira, PhD in Innovation and General Director of Startup Leiria since 2020, for their willingness and generosity in sharing their experience and know-how to foster the professional and scientific growth of each researcher.

This initiative, included in the ciTechCare 2025–2029 strategic program, reinforces ciTechCare’s mission to promote scientific excellence and the impact of health research, by providing researchers with access to experiences that complement their fields of work.
