Pedro Machado, PhD student at ciTechCare, was invited to present the “OncoEnergy: Physical exercise manual for people with cancer” at the Portuguese Congress of Radiotherapists, organized by the Portuguese Association of Radiotherapists.
Pedro highlighted the benefits of physical exercise in managing the adverse effects of cancer treatment and improving the quality of life of cancer patients. The Congress took place in Coimbra, focusing on the importance of transforming the scientific and professional paradigm in the context of National Radiotherapy.
