Impact of human behaviour and health policies in the pandemic curve

Rui Fonseca Pinto and Rui Passadouro da Fonseca published a new article on the COVID-19 pandemic, this time in the Journal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, with the title “Complex network model for COVID-19: Human behavior, pseudo-periodic solutions and multiple epidemic waves”(doi: 10.1016 / j.jmaa.2021.125171).The article allows modeling the human behavior and the impact of public health policies on the dynamics of the curve of active infected individuals during a COVID-19 epidemic outbreak. This work defines an “ideal” circulation topology that allows the number of contagions to be as small as possible. That is, which movements are allowed between regions (and in what sense) in order to minimize infections.
