Specialist Nurse in Critical Care Nursing at the General Surgery Department of the Local Health Unit of Leiria Region and Invited Assistant Professor at the School of Health Sciences of the Polytechnic University of Leiria.  Master’s Degree in Medical-Surgical Nursing; Post-graduated in Administration and Management of Health Services. Currently a PhD Student in Health and Wellbeing Sciences and Technologies in the Nursing field, at the National School of Public Health, NOVA University in association with the University of Évora.  Areas of interest: Nursing; Risk Management and Patient Safety; Infection control; Health planning; Healthcare Information Technologies.
