The Polytechnic of Leiria is now opening an application for a scientific research fellowship within the project “Scaling up Pulmonary Rehabilitation uptake and adherence: co-design and implementation of a hybrid intervention”, funded by FCT, PT2030.

The scholarship is intended for Graduates in Design and enrolled, or who meet the conditions for enrolment, in non-degree courses or in degree courses, namely Master’s Degree in Design, preferably with knowledge/skills in areas of Design in the context of health and well-being, graphics and communication, services and/or user experience.

The project intends to use a participatory co-design approach, involving health professionals and patients, which will contribute to the development of a hybrid intervention (face-to-face and digital) for person-centered pulmonary rehabilitation. The candidate will contribute to the planning, execution, analysis and facilitation of various participatory workshops, as well as support the production and dissemination of project results.

The work will be carried out at LIDA, Research Laboratory in Design and Arts, under the supervision of Professor Sandra Neves, PhD.
 The duration of this research fellowship will be 12 months, possibly renewable, with a start scheduled for October 2025.
