CV Synopsis
Carla Guimarães holds a BSc in Biochemistry, a BSc in Nutritional Sciences, a postgraduate qualification in Nutrition and Ageing, and a PhD in Chemical and Biological Engineering. She has several years of experience in research and development, clinical nutrition, and higher education teaching. She has published several articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals. She is currently an Assistant Professor at the School of Health Sciences of the University of Leiria and Oeste, Portugal.
