CV Synopsis
Inês Tello R. M. Rodrigues is a Speech and Language Therapist with a Master’s in Language Pathology and a PhD in Cognitive Neurosciences.

She works as a clinician with adults with aphasia, especially with patients with severe output deficits. Her intervention centres on functional-based programs emphasising supported conversation, ageing, and accessible communication. She has published in several national and international scientific journals. Her current research focuses on language recovery processes in chronic aphasia, more specifically the neuronal language circuits and their recovery with evidence by neuroimaging support. She is also interested in research on palliative care for people with severe communication difficulties.

She is a lecturer at ESSAlcoitão and a member of several professional and scientific organisations.
