Joana Pereira Sousa is a full-time Invited Adjunct Professor at the School of Health Sciences of the Polytechnic of Leiria. PhD in Nursing by Health Institute Sciences of the Catholic Portuguese University. Her area of interest is related to patients’ self-management of chronic diseases such as heart failure. She has published several studies in international journals.
