CV Synopsis 
Rafael Tavares is a PhD student at the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Burgos, focusing on developing technology to prevent and treat Carpal Tunnel Syndrome at aTOPlab. He holds a BSc and an MSc in Occupational Therapy from the School of Health Sciences at the Polytechnic of Oporto and has a professional interest in assistive technology, with experience in configuring, providing, and prescribing mobility and positioning products, as well as in developing environmental adaptation systems.
