CV Synopsis

Nádia Hipólito is a Physiotherapist and a PhD student in Health Data Science (speciality in Health Informatics) at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto, with the project “moveUP! Upgrading a mHealth app for personalised physical activity coaching within pulmonary rehabilitation in COPD” (PhD fellowship from Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia 2021.05188.BD). She also completed the PhD course in Human Kinetics at the Faculty of Human kinetics of the University of Lisbon. Currently, Nádia is a research fellow at the SCALE-UP project (2023.16009.ICDT, https://doi.org/10.54499/2023.16009.ICDT). Her research interests focus on promoting physical activity and reducing sedentary behaviour in people with COPD, as well as on the use of digital health solutions, encompassing their development and assessment, interoperability, compliance, and the health data cycle, aiming to make these solutions safer and more effective in improving patients’ quality of life and healthcare professionals’ workflow.
