PhD in Nursing and lecturer at the School of Health Sciences of the University of Leiria and Oeste since June 2004, after practising nursing care and management for 24 years, seven of them in the position of nurse director. Visiting professor at the Nursing School of the University of São Paulo in 2016 and at the University of Santiago de Cape Verde in 2018. Revision of articles (Revista Paulista de Pediatria, Brazilian Journal of Nursing, Research and Networks in Health) and author of scientific articles on the health of children and adolescents.
