CV Synopsis
Tiago Andrade has a degree in Nursing from the School of Health Sciences of the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria. He has a Master’s degree/Specialist qualification in Medical-Surgical Nursing from the School of Health Sciences of the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria and a Master’s degree in Bioethics from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon. He is currently a nurse in the Central Operating Room of the Local Health Unit of the Leiria Region, with previous experience in the Medical-Surgical Emergency Service and Hemodialysis. Guest Assistant at the School of Health Sciences of the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, teaching various courses, with a special focus on Ethics, Bioethics, and Professional Deontology. Member of the Ethics Committee of the ULSRL and External Member of the Ethics Committee of the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria. Member of the Institutional Coordination Group on Violence Against Health Professionals in the Workplace at ULSRL.
Guest speaker at various scientific events, with an interest in scientific areas such as Critical Care Nursing, Perioperative Nursing, End-of-life Care, ethics, bioethics, and professional deontology.
