On July 10, ciTechCare received a visit from Kamila Rasová, PhD in Neuroscience, lecturer and research coordinator of the Rehabilitation Department at the Third Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, in Czechia.

As a physiotherapist, she works in the Department of Rheumatology and Rehabilitation at the same institution, whose main focus is the rehabilitation of neurological patients (multiple sclerosis, stroke, spinal muscular atrophy, etc.), which is also her research field of work.

The presence of Kamila Rasová, resulted from an invitation made by José Alves-Guerreiro, researcher at ciTechCare with whom she has collaborated, and allowed a sharing of experiences and projects developed either by ciTechCare or the Department of Rehabilitation of the Third Faculty of Medicine, Charles University.

Emanuel Silva, research fellow at ciTechCare, presented the communication ’There is a long road to develop a better and inclusive society’. Also, several researchers attended this session whose goal was to enhance the scientific culture amongst scientists in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation, in particular, but also in other research areas.
