SMILIGHT
Innovating in non-pharmacological prescription for people with dementia

SMILIGHT aims to develop and launch a groundbreaking device in therapeutic care for dementia patients. As the first in its sector, it integrates next-generation sensors and an AI-powered app to monitor key biomarkers (e.g., stress, fatigue, focus) and support behavioural management in real time. The system enables the personalised prescription of non-pharmacological therapies, tailored to the individual’s cognitive and emotional profile, and grounded in the principles of patient-centred care. Combining human-centred design with sustainable materials, the project also promotes reduced polypharmacy and a lower environmental impact.
