Mind&Gait

Promoting independent living in frail older adults by improving cognition and gait ability and use of assistive products

Mind&Gait aims to promote independent living in frail older adults by developing innovative initiatives and systems to improve cognition and gait ability and providing specific support equipment.

The project will create a structured and integrated combined intervention through a computer-assisted cognitive stimulation and animal-assisted therapy program, a physical activity program and an auto-blocking mechanism for rolling walkers.

Additionally, a web platform will work as a repository and an instrument for results dissemination and resource availability.
