Maria Guarino, ciTechCare coordinator, expressed her opinion about what is expected from a Doctorate but also how the society should look at these professionals as a way of “driving for change and innovation”, particularly, within companies. 

A Doctorate can manage to “identify problems, sugest criative solutions and test them as a reliable solution” so “besides the technical functions, Doctorates should be considered to discuss societal, financial and stategic issues.”
