The researcher Sónia Gonçalves Pereira, mother of two celiac girls, is looking for celiac volunteers and their direct family (children and adults) to create a biobank of blood and feces samples for a research project that aims to study the influence of genetics and the microbiome on development of this disease.

This study will be carried out in partnership with 2 research centers in Finland and the United States of America and has the support of the Portuguese Celiac Association (Associação Portuguesa de Celíacos (APC).
