Research project receives a Grant in the 18th Portuguese Congress of Diabetes

The 18th Portuguese Congress of Diabetes was the purpose to gather hundreds of healthcare professionals with the ability to discuss this challenging chronic disease, looking for the continuous development of new therapeutic approaches. Campus 5 O’Clock Talk sessions are back, almost after 2 years of absence, caused by the pandemic, and the last one was about impact assessment, mainly on social projects, which is not only important, but also a needed reality. Compared to other projects, social programs require special and different assessment models, which does not really mean, less effective. The second edition of Oncofit – From sports lab to cancer clinic happened last March 18th and 19th, at North Rehabilitation Center. Oncomove and Research and Supportive Care in oncology Association (AICSO) were the organisers of the event whose aim is to promote the discussion about the importance of physical exercise role as a therapeutic approach in oncology.
