What´s new in the 2023 FCT Call for R&D projects? – A Campus 5 O’Clock Talk session
The first session of Campus 5 O’Clock Talk of the year took place on January 18, at 5 pm, at Campus 5 of the Polytechnic of Leiria. Maria Guarino guided the session whose aim was to inform and clarify the 2 announced calls by FCT, together with the National Innovation Agency (ANI), to fund R&D projects in all scientific fields: scientific research and technological development projects and exploratory projects. Project MorphoPlay distinguished at the Spotlight Awards 2023
Morphoplay, the project that consists in the creation of a prototype for the evaluation of morphological knowledge in children in the 2nd to 4th grade, was distinguished in the category of Best Student Game in the Spotlight Awards 2023, whose ceremony took place on November 20, at the Marvila Library in Lisbon. Students of Games and Multimedia degree, from the Polytechnic of Leiria, in collaboration with researchers from ciTechCare and CIIC, Computer Science and Communication Research Centre, developed the awarded Costa Nova game, created to assess implicit and explicit morphological knowledge, by collecting linguistic data using derived words.
