Opening of 3 calls for 12 research fellowships

The Polytechnic of Leiria is now opening applications for (twelve) scientific research fellowship (BI) within the project “MorphoPlay – Playful strategies for assessing morphological knowledge (2022.02585.PTDC)”, financed by Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT). MorphoPlay will be a morphological knowledge assessment test for children from the 2ndto the 4th grade of the 1st cycle, with the aim of being applied in the clinical practice of Speech Therapists andeventually in the classroom, by Teachers of the 1st cycle. Research in perception of aging published in the Spanish Journal of Geriatrics and Gerontology

A recent study entitled Physiotherapy Students’ Perceptions of Ageing – Playing narratives as a Pedagogical Innovation” intended to explore the adoption of new perspectives on ageing after the implementation of dynamic narratives in the first graduate year for physiotherapy students. ciTechCare received funding for 3 PhD research grants, out of the 7 applications submitted between 1 and 31 March, while the call for Research Grants for PhD 2023, promoted by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) was ongoing.
