Members of ciTechCare gathered to celebrate the World Day for Physical Activity

Last 6th of april, was the World Day of Physical Activity, a day to remember the importance of a regular practice of physical activity, as it is proven to help reduce mortality for all causes and for cardiovascular disease, helps prevent hypertension, some types of cancer and diabetes type 2. Maria Guarino was re-elected for the coordination of ciTechCare

On the 29th of march, Maria Guarino renewed her mandate as director of the Center for Innovative Care and Health Technology of the Polytechnic of Leiria, for the three-year period 2023-2026. A session dedicated to Exercise physiology in the cardiorespiratory patient was the porpose of the last course organized by the Interest Group in Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy of the Portuguese Association of Physiotherapists, that took place at ciTechCare, on march 10-11.
