Science and Technology Week 2024 – November 18 to 24
The Science and Technology Week is a nacional initiative of Ciência Viva, which occurs every year, in november, in the scope of the National Day of Scientific Culture, on november 24, and intends to reveal national scientists, what they investigate and their contributions to the improvement of science and the well-being of society. During this week, all around the country, there will be hundreds of science and technology actions organized by scientific institutions, universities, schools, museums and science centers. ciTechCare will promote several activities on 19 and 22 november, inviting the community to understand what making science means to us and find out more

Research on Feeding Behavior in Children was awarded the 2nd best poster in congress
The 3rd edition of the European Congress on Maternal and Child Nutrition took place from 24 to 26 October, at Eng. António de Almeida Foundation, in Oporto, and was the stage for the presentation of the poster entitled “Influence of Anthropometric and Sociodemographic Factors on Eating Behaviors in Young Children” by researchers Cátia Pontes, Sara Dias and the research fellow Rita Novo, which was awarded the 2nd best poster at the congress. Joana Cruz integrates a mobility programme in Brazil
ciTechCare researcher Joana Cruz was in international mobility at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), where she promoted a graduate course in Physiotherapy on emerging technologies in physical activity monitoring, and participated in the public doctoral exam of the student Naiara Leonardi, as a member of the orientation team.
