Also, Marlene Lages presented a review of the risks and evidence associated with interactions between herbs and drugs, according to the information currently available in the scientific literature and related to studies in humans.
ciTechCare was also represented through the participation of Professor Maria Guarino as moderator of one of the oral presentation sessions.
These meetings, organized by the Portuguese Society of Pharmacology, were preceded by a pre-meeting dedicated to Clinical Pharmacology, which brought together several international guests to discuss the theme “Fostering a research Culture in Clinical Pharmacology Services”, on the morning of 7 February.
In this edition, the Portuguese Society of Pharmacology meeting maintained the usual format of oral communications, mostly presented by young pharmacologists.
