SMILIGHT Project is one of the three finalists for the Longevity Innovation Award

Sónia Santos participates in the RUN Discovery Student Academy Programme, in Austria
Doctoral fellow in Biomedical Sciences with a focus on heart failure, Sónia Santos participated in the Offline Week of the RUN Discovery Student Academy, an international mentoring programme coordinated by the Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences (FHV). The programme, which runs from 8 April to 16 December, brought together final-year undergraduate students, master’s students, and early-stage PhD researchers in Dornbirn, Austria, from 15 to 19 September. FCT awards 3 funded PhD scholarships to ciTechCare
Flávio Costa, Rita Novo and Sara Pimenta are the most recent PhD research fellows at ciTechCare. The three applications submitted for the award of doctoral research fellowships were approved and will be funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) over the 4 coming years, enabling the fellows to undertake their research activities leading to the academic degree of Doctor. ciTechCare was present in the thematic week “Learning and Playing” at Expo 2025 Osaka, Japan
Rafael Pinheiro, researcher at ciTechCare, took part in the thematic week “Learning and Playing,” promoted by the National ERASMUS+ Education and Training Agency, as part of the “Study & Research in Portugal” initiative, held at EXPO 2025 Osaka, Japan, from July 23 to 25. Through a video presented at EXPO 2025 Osaka, the researcher spoke about the work developed at ciTechCare, initially through a postdoctoral fellowship in the field of artificial intelligence applied to health, and afterwards about what he has been able to achieve professionally through his ongoing three-year contract. Rafael Pinheiro also explained that, as a researcher, he
