ciTechCare scientific mentors strengthen support for the research team

In order to promote the scientific and professional growth of ciTechCare research team, three new collaborating members will join as scientific mentors. They are qualified to provide support in areas that complement and strengthen Health Sciences research, such as industrial property, health economics, competitive funding, scientific career development, entrepreneurship, and knowledge transfer. Sónia Santos participates in the RUN Discovery Student Academy Programme, in Austria

Doctoral fellow in Biomedical Sciences with a focus on heart failure, Sónia Santos participated in the Offline Week of the RUN Discovery Student Academy, an international mentoring programme coordinated by the Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences (FHV). FCT awards 3 funded PhD scholarships to ciTechCare

Flávio Costa, Rita Novo and Sara Pimenta are the most recent PhD research fellows at ciTechCare. The three applications submitted for the award of doctoral research fellowships were approved and will be funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) over the 4 coming years, enabling the fellows to undertake their research activities leading to the academic degree of Doctor.
