Veggies4myheart at the 2nd Pediatrics Congress of Hospital da Luz

Cátia Pontes, principal researcher at Veggies 4 MyHeart projet, received the best oral communication prize, at the 2nd Pediatrics Congress of Hospital da Luz Lisboa, that happened on march 2-3. According to her presentation “Parents’ perception about the nutritional status of preschool children – Veggies 4 MyHeart project”, around 15% of the questioned parents admit that their children have a healthy weight, however, the BMI (body mass index) assessment reveals their children are actually at the pre-obesity or obesity category. Veggies4myheart projet turned into an educational book

After the success of the Veggies4myheart project, lead by Cátia Pontes, and its recognition as the best national project of the year in the category of Community nutrition and public health, the digital and didactic game can now be found in a book version, called “Who wants to go to the village market?”. What Doctorates do we need? – an opinion article

The 5th National Symposium on Fruit Growing dedicates two days to technological and scientific dissemination
